IS EG Halal Expands Global Reach with Accreditation for Uruguay and Brazil Offices to Serve the UAE Market

IS EG Halal, a leading global halal certification body, is proud to announce it’s official accreditation by Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MOIAT) in collaboration with the Emirates National Accreditation System (ENAS) to certify halal products destined for the United Arab Emirates. With this accreditation, IS EG Halal Latin America is one of a handful of companies authorized to certify halal products for the UAE market originating from Uruguay and Brazil. It is expected that in 2026 South American Halal exports could reach $110B USD, according to Mordor Intelligence research.

The accreditation scope for the Uruguay and Brazil offices is comprehensive, covering food manufacturing, processing of perishable animal products, animal slaughtering, and processing of ambient stable products.
